Great coffee, the New Orleans was one of the best I’ve had. My husband and I were in Arcata for a week and had breakfast here most days because it was that good. The staff is vey nice and the vibes are good.
Had a wonderful experience today stopping in here on our way up to redwood np :) had the most lovely person helping me out and she had great suggestions :) definitely recommend whatever they have that is seasonal for coffee and the asparagus croissant is one the best pastries I’ve ever had! I’d give this place 20 stars if I could!

It's delicious here, trust me! The tomato soup is one of the most original and delicious I've had in California. The croissants are fresh and crisp, the cappuccino is great! 👍

Still thinking about the extra delicious herb & cheese omelette I had at Cafe Brio! Not only was it cooked to perfection.. but the eggs themselves were so flavorful. In fact, everything at Brio is flavorful .. and FRESH! The sourdough toast was amazing, too. Trying to figure out how many more times we can go to Brio before we have to return home. Highly recommend!
Stopped to have breakfast before the Saturday farmers market and it was absolutely delicious. Add a side salad to your meal, you won’t be disappointed.
Quite possibly the best chocolate chip cookie & espresso in all of Humboldt County. They really upped their espresso game recently and it shows! Consistently solid shots. Weekends are super crowded because everything they make is delicious so obviously they’re gonna be busy, plan accordingly. The online order ahead is a huge plus. The reality is Cafe Brio is a staple in Arcata and we are totally lucky to have access to such a dope business who prioritizes local food and great service!
What a fantastic Cafe! Had a fluffy blueberry muffin with a cappuccino and it hit the spot! Lots of local art inside that gives Brio a wholesome vibe. Service is also professional and inviting. Can't wait to return to try more fresh baked goods 😋
Very cute place in downtown Arcata. They allow dogs outside, as I noticed walking in. They bake their breads here daily so I ordered the sourdough waffle, eggs and a latte. My daughter ordered a hot chocolate, chocolate croissant and the brio classic. The front desk was super helpful and patient. She was very bubbly and made us feel welcome. The patio outside was clean and comfortable. Lots of options on coffee. No real iced coffee but everything else is available. My latte came out delicious, it was pretty big too! Waffles were very tasty, I could taste the sourdough. Would come back ! They have sandwiches and pastries too. Great spot!
